ABOUT THIS COURSE
Looking to work in construction? It is compulsory that you complete a Construction Induction training course to be able to work on a domestic or commercial construction site.
Protect yourself and your work mates by being aware of how to increase safety at work. Whilst the white card is recognised nationally, if you wish to work in a state other than Queensland, check your local work safety regulation first to ensure mutual recognition.
With the change from ‘blue’ to ‘white’ cards many find they will have to undergo the construction induction training to obtain a more recent certificate that allows workers to work across borders.
While your Blue Card will still allow you to work as long as it is not expired, many construction companies are requiring that all employees and contractors hold the new national White Card.
Even if you are a current holder of a Blue Card, as Australasian College of Technical Education can no longer issue the blue card, it is recommended that you complete the white card course and upgrade to the national White Card today.
LOST YOUR WHITE CARD?
If you have lost your white card and need a replacement, Australasian College of Technical Education can offer replacements for a $35 fee. This only applies to students who had attained their original Blue/White card through one of our campuses. Please call to have this arranged for you.
